Stick Horses in Pants -- Jared Harp
Stick Horses in Pants (SHiP for short) first began in January 2004 when Christa Remund and Suzanne Hadley decided they wanted to try improv. Enthusiastic about the idea, they rounded up Hunter Willis, Jared Harp, Tonya Marler and Sarah Smith. This group became the original Stick Horse posse.

The group began official rehearsals in April of that year, playing improv games and refining their skills by reading improv books and attending improv workshops at the Impulse theater. Wanting a name that matched the random Stick Horses in Pants -- Hunter Willisnature Stick Horses in Pants -- Kate Simonsof their art, the team came up with Stick Horses. But Stick Horses, alone, was not enough. No, they had to wear pants.

Soon the Horses were performing at birthday parties, barbecues, corporate Christmas parties, church fundraisers and the Improv Hootenanny at Bovine Metropolis in Denver.

In 2005, SHiP proudly added Anthony Mincer, Dianne Bundt, and Kate Simons to the stable. With a blend of comedic talent and unbridled enthusiasm, this improv team is in SHiP-shape.
