Saturday, May 24th: Performing at The Colorado Springs School
We’re back for our ongoing improv comedy series with the Colorado Springs School. On Saturday night, May 24th, we’ll be performing the family-friendly show. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for kids/students/military. You can purchase online at www.theStickHorses.com/tickets.html or at the door (no credit card purchases at the door). Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7pm. We hope to see you there!
Friday & Saturday, June 6th & 7th: Improv Battle with The RiP
Your favorite improv troupe (that’s us, in case you’re wondering) has been challenged to an improv battle by another one of Colorado Springs ‘ improv troupes: The RiP. A friendly rivalry has been growing for years and now we’ll battle it out for the title of “Improv King of Colorado Springs “.
Doors will open each night at 7:30 and the show will start at 8:00 pm. We’ll be performing inside of Venue 515 (part of the Business of Art Center) at 515 Manitou Avenue in Manitou Springs. Tickets are $6 for kids/students/military and $8 for adults. You can also purchase a family-pack (2 adults and 2 kids) for $25. Online sales are coming soon.
This is a family-friendly show. The BAC serves beer and wine so please take this into consideration when bringing the family.

Stick Horses in Pants, Colorado Springs’ Favorite Improv Troupe, is proud to announce they will begin teaching improv classes on April 5, 2008. Beginning at 10am and ending at noon students will learn some of the basics of improv as well as perform some of their favorite improv games.

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Jan. 14, 2008) — Improvisational comedy troupe Stick Horses in Pants is partnering with Colorado Springs School to provide monthly improv shows Jan. through April 2008. Beginning on Jan. 26, the Stick Horses will take the CSS stage the fourth Saturday of each month to perform a comedy show for families. CSS was established in 1960 as a private college preparatory school for girls, and currently serves over 450 co-ed students from pre-school through 12th grade. “We’re excited to partner with a quality institution like CSS,” says founding SHiP member Hunter Willis. “We share the vision of bringing quality entertainment to Colorado Springs families.”
The first performance will be held on Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. in the CSS theater. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online: Adults, $8; Students, $6. The family-friendly show will feature hilarious, on-the-spot skits based on audience suggestions. Bring your ideas, and come ready to laugh!
